Dr. Wiegel

Dr. Wiegel’s special interests in practice are soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, feline medicine, exotic animal medicine, and low stress handling techniques. She is an active member of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA). She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State in 2014 and has a BA in Economics from Wellesley. She has four friendly, cuddly kitties: Smokey Jo, Carolina Jane, Sergeant Boots, and Marigold Marie. Dr. Wiegel enjoys counted cross stitch, watching movies, spending time at the neighborhood pool with her kids, and traveling the world with her husband.
