Happy Tails VEC is proud to be one of the original sponsors of the WFMY-TV “2 The Rescue”Adoption Show since it launched in 2009. Because of its huge success in finding forever homes for so many furry babies, we have continued to be a main sponsor for the “2 The Rescue” adoption show.
Happy Tails VEC is an original sponsor of the “Canine Capers” event and continues the tradition. In 2013, the Oak Ridge Bark Park was developed and has been a great place for dog owners to exercise and socialize their pets. All proceeds currently go towards supporting and maintaining the dog park.
Happy Tails VEC continues to be a proud sponsor of the “Bark in the Boro” event held annually by the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department. This is a social event for pet owners and their dogs.
Happy Tails VEC was a proud “Footlong Weiner” sponsor in 2014. All proceeds at the event went towards helping dachshunds in need of medical treatment via Almost Home Dachshund Rescue Society and Dachshund Rescue of North America.
Was a proud annual Silver Sponsor of this event for several years to raise money for The Guilford County Animal Shelter to save animals through Susie’s Fund!
Happy Tails VEC was a proud sponsor for the local Girl Scout Troop 40172 for their “Tails to Trails” dog walk/foster care awareness event. This event helped them completed their Silver Award Project and raised awareness about the need for quality foster families for the many homeless animals in Greensboro. They were able to collect donations of items and funds to purchase additional supplies for the local animal shelter. Great job!
Happy Tails VEC was a proud sponsor for Grimsley High School in the NewBridge Bank Football and Cheerleading Jamboree. All proceeds from the event were directly donated to participating schools.
Happy Tails VEC was the first veterinary hospital in the Triad to sponsor Babe’s Bark In The Park for the Greensboro Grasshoppers. All proceeds for the event went to local animal rescue groups.
In July 2008, Happy Tails VEC was a contributor to the FOX8 News feature story on the national snake antivenin shortage.
