Kalyn

Kalyn believes in providing patients with TLC even in the most challenging of cases, that’s why she prioritizes using low stress handling techniques. Her hobbies include playing softball, hiking in the mountains with her dogs and relaxing on her front porch swing with a book. Kalyn holds a bachelor’s degree in pre-vet biology and business management from Maryville College in Tennessee and an associate’s degree in animal Behavior from Alamance Community College. She plans to continue her education in veterinary technology and hopes to become a registered veterinary technician in the state of North Carolina in the future. A fun fact about Kalyn is that she spent 3 years traveling the United States while playing professional softball. Her family consists of her mother and father and twin siblings. Kalyn also considers her pets her family and shares her home with Beagles Cooper and Meeko, her husky/ pit mixes Rylie and Polus, and four cats named Flower, Figgy, Tater and Koal. On her days off, you can find her snuggled up with her dogs, watching movies and enjoying her favorite snack, Talenti gelato.
